TVH!TS is the New Channel Destination For TV’s Greatest Hits @Foxtel

Foxtel  has confirmed an array of favourite dramas and comedies to feature on its new TVH!TS channel, which will launch on Wednesday, January 1, 2014. 

Seinfeld, the much-loved show often cited as the greatest sitcom of all time, and another enduring favourite The Nanny, will have a new home on TVH!ITS come January with Foxtel acquiring the shows from Sony Pictures Television.

This follows previously announced library deals with other leading Hollywood content distributors CBS, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Carsey Werner and NBCUniversal who will also supply key programming for TVH!TS.

The TVH!TS line-up will feature the hugely successful dramas NCIS, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, The Mentalist and Law & Order.

The other phenomenal comedies on the channel will include Friends, How I Met your Mother, Everybody Loves Raymond and That ’70s Show.

TVHI!TS replaces TV1 in Foxtel’s Essentials package available to all subscribers and will be found on Foxtel channel 101 withTVH!TS+2 on channel 151.

TVH!TS will also be available via the Foxtel Go app to subscribing customers across a host of devices including compatible Apple iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini, select Samsung Android tablets and smartphones, as well as PC and Mac computers, with up to three registered devices at the same time.

Under the Sony Pictures Television deal, Foxtel has also secured rights to Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie. Both beloved series will settle in on TVH!TS’ sister channel 111 in January.

Law & Order fans will find the series on TVH!TS while Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Criminal Intent will be on the new lookUniversal channel which becomes available on Foxtel’s Essentials package on January 1.
