Having been there since day one, Fox Sports will celebrate 10 years of the Hyundai A-League with LIVE, uninterrupted and HD coverage of every match, world class presentation and a refreshed weekly line-up of football entertainment.

Tara Rushton returns for her second Hyundai A-League campaign with Fox Sports, settling in to Sunday nights to host a new-look Shootout alongside the game’s biggest personality, Mark ‘Bozza’ Bosnich, and Socceroos heroes Aloisi and Zelic to review each round and look at the lighter side of the game.

Simon Hill, the undisputed modern-day voice of Australian football who has now called over 100 Socceroos matches, will once again spearhead the commentary team alongside the likes of Socceroos champion Robbie Slater and Andy Harper.

The landmark 2014/15 season gets underway this Friday, October 10, when Adam Peacock and his team of Harper, Mark Rudan and John Kosmina combine for Kick Off at 7pm EDT, before Melbourne Victory hosts two-time Grand Finalists Western Sydney Wanderers in the season-opening clash from Etihad Stadium.

Fox Sports CEO, Patrick Delany, said: “We are immensely proud of our contribution in growing the game of football and we are witnessing the product of that with the explosion in popularity of the Hyundai A-League, it is truly Australia’s summer football.”

“The FFA Cup has been a huge success during the winter and our sense is that it has not only been entertaining and well supported, but has united football fans. This will give a charge to the A-League.”

“Football fans are a very special breed of sports fan, they are absolutely passionate about the game and they inspire us to up the ante in our football coverage every season.”

“This season we’ve welcomed two of the biggest names in the history of the Socceroos into our team, injected fresh life into our entertainment shows and will continue to lead the way with LIVE High Definition and ad-break free coverage of every match”.

Fox Sports average audiences for the Hyundai A-League have increased by 71% since the inaugural season, with a cumulative gross audience of 66 million viewers on Fox Sports since the opening match in 2005.

Hyundai Matchday Saturday has undergone a major revamp with a new fully-interactive set and an explosion of virtual technology to empower the team of Aloisi, Peacock, Bosnich and Rudan to deliver a matchday experience like no other with up to 11 hours of LIVE coverage of the Hyundai A-League and Barclays Premier League each Saturday.

Also returning for Season 10 is comedic trio Santo Cilauro, Sam Pang and Ed Kavalee with their unique take on the game in Santo, Sam and Ed’s Total Football, which has grown to a 60-minute show and shifts to Tuesday nights debuting tomorrow night (October 7) at 7.30pm EDT.
