Network Ten is proud to deliver the biggest free-to-air broadcast of an Olympic Winter Games in Australian television history.

Join Mel McLaughlin in Sochi with a host of guests including Steven Bradbury as they look ahead to the games and countdown to the opening ceremony which will be simulcast on TEN and ONE.

From tonight’s Opening Ceremony until the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, February 23, TEN and ONE will broadcast more than 368 hours of live action from Sochi, and 550 hours of competition in total, featuring a record 98 events across 15 sports and disciplines.

Eight dedicated channels will also be available on tenplay and via the dedicated Sochi 2014 Ten app for iOS and Android, enabling viewers to watch their favourite events and athletes anywhere and at any time.

Australia has assembled its biggest, and best, Winter Games team in history for Sochi. It will boast defending Olympic champions, world champions, Winter X medallists, World Cup event winners, a dual Summer Olympian and several rising stars.

Our very real gold medal chances include Lydia Lassila, Torah Bright, Alex “Chumpy” Pullin, David Morris and Russ Henshaw.

It’s time to get behind this talented team of athletes who are chasing a record medal haul and competing for the pride of their country.
