Charlie Pickering to exit The Project tonight

After 1245 episodes and almost five years, tonight will be the final appearance for Charlie Pickering on The Project.

Tonight the show will look back at some of Charlie’s favourite moments, plus Steve Price sits down for a one-on-one one chat to ask him 10 questions he’s been dying to know the answers to.

Pickering made the decision to quit the show late last year however was convinced to stay longer after comedian Dave Hughes departed. His last show tonight is just three months shy of the fifth anniversary of the launch of The 7pm Project with Charlie, Carrie Bickmore and Dave Hughes.

Comedian Wil Anderson will join the panel from Tuesday as special guest co-host for the remainder of the week. Other guest hosts are yet to be confirmed

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is in full swing. Dropping by The Project desk this week is Frank Woodley, Scotland’s biggest export Kevin Bridges and Tom Ballard.

Aussie actor and director Brendan Cowell joins in on Thursday as guest panellist.

So You Think You Can Dance Australia judge, Shannon Hotzapffel, joins the panel to preview this week’s episode which screens Thursday at 7.30pm on TEN.
