Big Ruckman ready to take on The Block as Nine puts out the casting call

With the next season of The Block expected to kick off in mid June, the Nine Network has already put out the casting call for the 2015 season.

As exclusively revealed by this website in April, Recently retired AFL star Darren Jolly will be a contestant in next months series. The former Sydney and Collingwood Ruckman has previously discussed his love of the show. It is understood Darren will participate in the series with his wife Deanne. The couple made headlines in 2010 when Darren changed football clubs mid-contract so his wife who was dealing with post-natal depression at the time could live in Melbourne.

This season of The Block will take place in High Street Prahran and involves the construction of six split-level atrium apartments above two restaurants in a converted office block location.
