Get ready to head back to the border with the second season of crime drama The Bridge premiering express from the U.S. Tuesday July 15 at 8.30pm AEST on Foxtel’s FX channel.

The US version of The Bridge stars Oscar® Nominee Demián Bichir (A Better Life) and Diane Kruger (Inglorious Basterds), Season 2 begins with the body of a cartel member found dead on U.S. soil, reuniting Sonya Cross from El Paso PD and her Mexican counterpart, Marco Ruiz who must work together to solve the case.  

Reeling from the death of his son, Marco is still dealing with corrupt cops and the demands of the cartel while Sonya meets an unexpected man with connections to her past who threatens to come between her and the boss, Lieutenant Hank Wade. The case quickly pulls them all into a complex web of money laundering, police corruption, and the Juarez Drug War which infiltrates the suburban streets of El Paso.

The Bridge co-stars Ted Levine (The Silence of the Lambs), Annabeth Gish (The X-Files), Matthew Lillard (Scream), Thomas M. Wright (Top Of The Lake) and introducing Franka Potente (American Horror Story), Bruno Bichir (Rabbit on the Moon) and Australian actor Nathan Phillips (Wolf Creek).
