England captain Alastair Cook will need a big series against India to save his captaincy.

Fox Sports has announced it will exclusively broadcast the full upcoming England v India and England v New Zealand cricket tours, as well as the star-studded MCC V Rest of the World match, after reaching an agreement with the England and Wales Cricket Board (the ECB).

The deal comes after much criticism from cricket fans that Fox Sports was unable to broadcast the recent England vs Sri Lanka series due to right agreements.

The opening Test between England and India gets underway on Wednesday (July 9) and Fox Sports will be the place fans can see the entire five-Test series, the five-match ODI series and the Twenty20 International LIVE.

The Indian side arrive at Nottingham with fond memories of a successful ICC Champions Trophy in England last June. The tourists are looking to avenge their back-to-back Test series defeats when they take on Alastair Cook’s men in first Test at Trent Bridge. England enters the series having just suffered their first-ever home series defeat against Sri Lanka.

Fox Sports CEO, Patrick Delany, said: “Cricket fans in Australia have been asking for television coverage of this tour. We are thrilled to deliver the masses of passionate English and Indian cricket fanatic’s down under exclusive coverage of the highly anticipated upcoming full English tour.
“The addition of the next two tours in England rounds out Fox Sports’ extensive schedule of International cricket over the next 12 months, including every game live of the 2015 Cricket World Cup,” Delany concluded.

Viewers won’t miss a minute of the upcoming tour action in England, with Fox Sports News’ comprehensive coverage of all the highlights, complimenting the insights and first-class analysis on Australia’s leading general sports website,

Fox Sports’ High Definition coverage of the upcoming England V India tour, England V New Zealand tour and MCC v Rest of the World match is available to Foxtel sports subscribers. All matches will also be available via Foxtel Play and Foxtel on Telstra T-Box, and LIVE on the go via Foxtel Go.
