Highlights of Australian teenage star Nick Kyrgios’ battle with big-serving Canadian Milos Raonic will now start 7TWO’s coverage 30 minutes earlier, starting 9.30pm AEST tonight.

Following that, it’s exclusively live action from Wimbledon with Ladies’ Semi-Finals action as 2011 champion Petra Kvitova takes on Czech compatriot Lucie Safarova, then Canadian beauty Eugenie Bouchard faces Romanian Simona Halep.

Day 9 delivered outstanding late night viewing results with Kyrgios’ quarter final on Channel 7. Primetime Wimbledon viewing on 7TWO averaged 490,000 and late night on Channel 7 averaged 268,000, with both channels up over 80 per cent on same day last year.

The combined peak minute audience hit 934,000 on 7TWO during the highlights replay of the Kyrgios vs Nadal match. 7TWO free-to-air metro share of 13.1 per cent outperformed 13 free-to-air channels - nearly beating Nine (primary) with 14.3 per cent and cementing Seven at No. 1 with 20.0 per cent.

Channel 7’s late night Wimbledon share of 40 per cent smashed all channels with the next closest competitor share sitting at a distant 10.9 per cent.

Growth has been incredibly strong for Days 1-9, up nearly 20 per cent on the same viewing period last year for Channel 7 and 7TWO.

Seven’s broadcast will be hosted by Todd Woodbridge with expert commentary from three-
time Wimbledon champion John Newcombe, along with Rennae Stubbs, Sam Smith and Geoff Masters.

In addition, there will be commentary from a string of the biggest names in tennis via the host broadcaster BBC, among them John McEnroe, Pat Cash, Jimmy Connors, Martina Navratilova and Lindsay Davenport.

All singles and doubles finals, as well as the singles’ semi-finals, will be exclusively live on Channel 7, while starting on 7TWO in some states.
