Tonight is the second last episode for this first season of Utopia, and perhaps the strongest.
Slightly disillusioned by his first 11 months in the job, Tony (Rob Sitch) thinks back to when it all began. The launch of the NBA was a great success but within weeks Jim (Anthony 'Lehmo' Lehmann) was at his door, desperate for some sort of new public announcement.
Stalled in the pre-planning stages, Tony and his team were forced to cope with Rhonda (Kitty Flanagan), angry cyclists, plumbing problems and gluten-free muffins. Not an auspicious start.
While this series has suffered from poor editing, and script's that feel not quite finished, the potential is there for this show to develop into a cult classic comedy in season 2
Also stars Celia Pacquola, Dave Lawson, Luke McGregor, Michelle Lim Davidson, Emma-Louise Wilson and Toby Truslove.
