The Australian PGA Championship from Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast starts Thursday with defending champion Greg Chalmers returning, alongwith Australian Masters champion Peter Senior, the inspiring Jarrod Lyle and Australia’s hottest young golfing talent Cameron Smith.

Australia’s richest golf tournament in 2015, the Australian PGA Championship is being played for $1.75million and co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia and European Tour.

Seven’s golf coverage will also be live streamed on the PLUS7 app.

The Australian PGA will be hosted by Peter Donegan, with expert commentary from Ian

Baker-Finch, Wayne Grady, Grant Dodd and Pat Welsh.
