The highly anticipated second season of Transparent will exclusively premiere on Stan from December 12, fast-tracked from the US.

Fans who can’t wait to catch up with the Pfeffermans can enjoy a special preview of the first episode of Season Two on Stan from today.

Winner of five Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Lead Actor and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, and two Golden Globe Awards for Best Actor and Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical, Transparent is one of the year’s most critically acclaimed TV series.

Season Two begins with a big white wedding for Sarah and Tammy – but is it happily ever after? Post nuptials, Sarah gets in touch with her deeper desires, which isn’t always comfortable. Now out of the closet, Maura discovers the hardest part of her transition is still ahead and faces some tough personal decisions about her future. Josh and Rabbi Raquel navigate their new relationship, and the complexity of being an instant family for Josh’s recently returned son, Colton. Ali zeroes in on her future, captivated by a new connection with Syd and a prolific feminist mentor. Academy Award-winning actress Anjelica Huston (Medium) and Emmy Award winner Cherry Jones (24) are among the guest stars joining the second season.

Continuing the journey towards their authenticity, the entire Pfefferman family return for the second season of Transparent. Golden Globe and Emmy-Award winner Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) stars as Maura, Judith Light (The Exes) as Shelley, Amy Landecker (Louie) as Sarah, Jay Duplass (Togetherness) as Josh and Emmy nominated Gaby Hoffmann (Girls) as Ali. Transparent Season Two is executive produced by Jill Soloway (Six Feet Under) and Andrea Sperling (Like Crazy).

All episodes of Transparent Season 2 will be available to stream in full HD, on multiple devices including TVs, smartphones, tablets and computers. The complete first season is also available to stream now on Stan.
