In a television exclusive, Maggie Kirkpatrick will speak to Studio 10 tomorrow morning about the child abuse allegations that turned her world upside down.
The former Prisoner star was initially convicted of indecently assaulting a 14-year-old girl more than 30 years ago until the judge upheld the actress’ appeal this month.
Interviewed by Studio 10’s Craig Bennett, Kirkpatrick speaks of the moment she got the call from police and how the allegations made her feel sick. The 74-year-old reveals how hard it was to tell her family about the allegations and opens up about how traumatic the past two years have been for her and how sick and betrayed she felt by the cruelty shown by the media.
Kirkpatrick said: “I couldn’t believe it was happening and I found it distressing beyond belief.”
To see Kirkpatrick’s only television interview, watch Studio 10 tomorrow (Friday 18th) at 8.30am on TEN.
