The Nine Network has confirmed it will broadcast what is being promoted as 'the biggest week in Australian football history' having signed deals to televise the three matches being played in Australia in the International Champions Cup between Real Madrid CF, Manchester City FC and AS Roma, as well as both the Liverpool FC friendly matches being played against A League teams Brisbane Roar and Adelaide United.
Nine is yet to confirm exact broadcast times for the matches, or if any of the games will be televised on the Gem HD channel.
The week will feature some of the world’s most famous players including Sergio Agüero (Manchester City FC), Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool FC), Gareth Bale (Real Madrid CF), Francesco Totti (AS Roma) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), who was recently crowned “FIFA World Player of the Year”.
