ABC News 24, has unveiled a refreshed weekday line-up across afternoons and evenings.

From Monday March 9 the ABC News 24 schedule will be consistent Monday to Friday with a regular schedule of news, current affairs, sport and business.

Anchoring the line-up in the evening is current affairs flagship Lateline, which will premiere live on ABC News 24 at 9:30pm AEDT (and again on ABC TV at 10:30pm local time).

As revealed by this website last month, Q&A will no longer air Monday's on ABC News 24, meaning viewers in some states will not be able to see the program broadcast live.

The refreshed schedule hopes to strengthen business and sport coverage across the day, with The Business and Grandstand running as 15-minute editions in the afternoon and evening.

After a number of complaints from the audience, The Drum also returns to an earlier timeslot of 6:30pm (AEDT)
