St Kilda has shown good form in the first two rounds unearthing exciting young talent Josh Bruce and will be aiming to upset the Magpies on the big stage of Friday Night Football from the MCG.
Wayne Carey will be catching up pre-game with Nick Riewoldt as the Saints superstar overtakes the two-time North premiership skipper in games captained. Sounds of the Game will also go inside the St Kilda inner sanctum with a player microphone.
On Saturday Night Footy it’s a clash of two clubs with top four aspirations as North Melbourne host Port Adelaide at Etihad Stadium. Reigning AFL Coaches’ Association Player of the Year Robbie Gray features in the award-winning Discovered and tells us about his passion for basketball, travelling in the US and the Power’s quest for a flag. We’ve followed the Kangaroos pre-season with access all areas and they also offer up some fun on Gimme Something. Lingy and Richo take us into both clubs’ rooms pre-game to talk about the preparation.
On Sunday Football the embattled Suns trek to Geelong to take on the Cats. Former All-Australian nominee Steven Motlop shares with us his regret over his recent one-match suspension. In the Sunday Soapbox Leigh Matthews compares the spines of the great Brisbane teams of 2001-03 to the current Hawthorn crop.
Saturday Arvo Footy sees two old traditional Melbourne rivals Carlton and Essendon face off. Young Blues utility Kristian Jaksch talks to us about the tough decision to leave GWS. We also launch the latest Toyota AFL Legendary moment.
