Its been an open secret for a long time, but Network Ten has now confirmed Tiffiny Hall will reprise her role of trainer when The Biggest Loser Families returns to TEN later this year.

The fifth dan Taekwondo instructor will join fellow trainers Michelle Bridges, Shannan Ponton and Steve “Commando” Willis as they motivate four Australian families to achieve their weight-loss dreams.

The Biggest Loser has not been seen on Australian TV since early 2014, that season was a ratings disaster for the network. When the program returns later this year it will return its focus on Australian families inspired and motivated to achieve their ‘weightloss dreams.’

No stranger to TBL, Tiffiny trained the Duncan family on TBL Families in 2011, applying her innovative martial arts philosophy of training the mind to train the body.

Tiffiny’s unique approach proved a success, as she motivated and supported the Duncan family to lose a combined weight of 210.9 kilograms, with Emma Duncan losing 46.38% of her body weight and taking out the top prize.

In 2012, Tiffiny joined Michelle, Shannan and Commando as they trained 16 new contestants on TBL Singles. Tiffiny again applied her “ninja” approach to coach her team to a combined weight loss of 182.7 kilograms.

Tiffiny said: “I am so thrilled to be back for TBL Families. I love helping people become healthier and more confident.”
