Fox Sports set for unrivalled coverage of Rugby World Cup

As Australia prepares to support the Wallabies in the Rugby World Cup, Fox Sports 502 will become the home of the RWC 2015 featuring its unrivalled offering as the only Australian broadcaster delivering Live coverage of all 48 matches, in HD and ad-break free.

Fox Sports’ Live coverage will be complemented with pre and post-game coverage on select games, a slate of entertainment shows (World Cup Weekly, Mondays at 8.30pm; Rugby HQ, Fridays at 7.30pm; Rooftop Rugby, Saturdays at 6.30pm; Cup Runneth Over, Sundays at 7.00pm) and a brand new series, Rugby Legends, premiering Sunday 20 September at 6.30pm.

In London to host Fox Sports’ coverage will be the commentary team featuring John Eales, George Gregan, Phil Kearns, Tim Horan, Greg Martin, Rod Kafer, Greg Clark and Nick McArdle.

The Fox Sports Rugby channel will be available for free to Foxtel sports subscribers as part of their existing package. Australia’s 1987 RWC Semi-Final showdown against France launches the dedicated channel tonight at 6.30pm followed by a feast of classic RWC matches.

On September 19 at 3.00am EST, the RWC 2015 Opening Ceremony officially begins Rugby’s showpiece event followed by England v Fiji at 5am.
