2015 PRIMETIME EMMYS SPECIAL!
The one where Mark Humphries and Molk look at the winners, losers and hosting performance of Andy Samberg at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Most wins were expected or at least pleasant surprises (Jeffrey Tambor for TRANSPARENT, Jon Hamm for MAD MEN, & Peter Dinklage for GAME OF THRONES for example). No real WTF moments other than the big Outstanding Drama win by GAME OF THRONES - against MAD MEN, BETTER CALL SAUL and more.
There was that moment where they ran an In Memoriam segment for shows that left us in the last year... and spoiled the end of Nurse Jackie for Australian viewers. The dangers of delaying TV shows into Australia.
Netflix fared OK but not great (1 win) & Amazon Prime took home 2 thanks to TRANSPARENT. HBO cleaned up thanks to GoT, VEEP & OLIVE KITTERIDGE - the latter gifting Bill Murray an Emmy.
Samberg more than handled the pressure of hosting one of the biggest gigs in TV.
As you'll hear from this chat there was so much more than went on and most of it was pretty great.
