MIA: Where are these shows the Networks promised us?

With only 8 weeks of the 2015 ratings year left there is a raft of content still to be delivered to us if we're to believe the promises made to us by the programmers of our FTA & Pay TV Networks.

Some shows were touted as a part of the Network's UpFronts last year, filling out their schedule as the "next big thing". Some have slid in through announcements throughout the year. Some are simply expectations based (particularly) on US Network output deals.

The ignominy is that some have aired and already been cancelled in their original broadcast home countries - so you can almost guarantee they're gonna be buried if and when they get broadcast here (looking at you RED BAND SOCIETY and ZERO HOUR as two recent examples).

THE KETTERING INCIDENT has been promised almost all year by Foxtel as "coming soon". CLEVERMAN has a lot of buzz around it, but hasn't been officially sighted yet. If Seven indeed hold the rights to THE MUPPETS are they holding off because they expect it to be a stinker? (Please God NO!)

Can all these shows really be that bad?

The bottom line is with two months left in this year's ratings season there's still an awful lot of content still to see oxygen formally in Australia. There's a lot left in the tank*:
