As Federer, Nadal, Williams and Kyrgios warm up for the Australian Open, The Seven Network has announced its 7Tennis app is now available for the latest generation Apple TV device.
Seven will also provide video highlights including player interviews and speeches on the 7Tennis channel within Apple News.
The 7Tennis app on the new Apple TV gives users total control to choose any of the 16 televised courts at the Australian Open on their big screen.
The exclusive online coverage from 7Tennis allows fans to watch over 2000 hours of world class tennis and their choice of over 500 matches streamed live, including the Channel 7/7TWO/7mate broadcast plus hundreds of hours of amazing tennis highlights. This announcement comes after the recent news that Seven is making its Tennis app available on the Telstra TV.
Commenting, Clive Dickens, Seven’s Chief Digital Officer, said:
“Seven’s exclusive coverage of The Australian Open Series available online via 7Tennis is already enjoying record breaking digital engagement and consumer feedback. Adding Apple News and the new Apple TV to the compatible devices is the next step of our Seven Everywhere strategy.”
