Bernard Tomic will carry the hopes of a nation LIVE Monday night on Channel 7 and the 7Tennis app, as he battles World No. 2 Andy Murray for a spot in the Australian Open quarter finals.

First up on Rod Laver Arena at 7pm AEDT, Tomic will be aiming for an upset win to catapult him deep into the tournament.

Following that on Rod Laver Arena, the Cinderella story of China's Shuai Zhang continues as she faces American Madison Keys for a spot in the last eight, having never won a Grand Slam match in 15 attempts before 2016.

Late afternoon, 2014 Australian Open winner Stanislas Wawrinka takes on big serving Canadian Milos Raonic.

Starting the day's coverage on Channel 7, it's an all-German affair as seventh seed Angelique Kerber is up against Annika Beck. Then two-time Australian Open winner Victoria Azarenka faces off against Czech Barbora Strycova.
