Tennis fans are set for an entertaining show Wednesday night at the Australian Open, as Gael Monfils takes on Canadian Milos Raonic for a spot in the semi finals.

The flamboyant Frenchman has won their previous two encounters, but Raonic has climbed the rankings since then and will head in with some confidence.

Late afternoon, Britain's Andy Murray battles Spanish eighth seed David Ferrer. The World No. 2 enjoys a 12-6 head-to-head record against Ferrer, including the last five clashes.

Starting the day's coverage on Channel 7, the in-form two-time Australian Open winner Victoria Azarenka faces German seventh seed Angelique Kerber.

Following that match, the fairy tale story of the tournament continues as Zhang Shuai goes up against Australian-raised, Johanna Konta.

Wheelchair singles is also in action Wednesday, spearheaded by World No. 1 Dylan Alcott, streamed live on 7Tennis, plus highlights on Channel 7.
