In a special one-night event, Australia’s ‘greats’ will take on ‘The World’ in FAST4 Tennis at Allphones Arena, Sydney.

Two-time Grand Slam singles champion Lleyton Hewitt will lead the Aussie charge along with livewire Nick Kyrgios and former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash in their corner as captain.

Spain’s 14-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal will headline The World Team, along with Swedish former World No. 1 Mats Wilander as captain and the game’s greatest entertainer Gael Monfils.

FAST4 was developed in Australia with the first event broadcast by Nine last year. The format speeds up a traditional game. Rules include no advantage scoring, no lets, a tiebreaker at three games all, and first to four games wins the set.

Hamish McLachlan will host the broadcast with John Fitzgerald alongside him in commentary. Josh Eagle and Rebecca Maddern will deliver all the courtside colour.

FAST4 Tennis will broadcast nationally on Channel 7, Monday January 11 at 7.30pm.
