Triple M has confirmed Chris Judd and Paul Roos will join the radio networks AFL commentary team in 2017.

The duo will join the existing line-up of James Brayshaw, Brian Taylor, Wayne Carey, Luke Darcy, Danny Frawley, Mark Ricciuto and Wayne Schwass.

And while he may have retired from TV commentary, the Voice of Football, Dennis Cometti will continue his calling duties for Triple M heading up all WA based games. Damien Barrett and Jay Clark also return with their news insights.

One name missing from the line-up is Garry Lyon. The highly-regarded football analyst is expected to soon announce a move to rival station SEN, where he will host the breakfast program and play a role in the Friday night football coverage.

Head of Content Mike Fitzpatrick said:

"We've always prided ourselves on having the most entertaining call, adding Juddy and Paul ensures we also have the most insightful analysis from these two great leaders of our game. Our new 6-year deal with the AFL gives up the perfect chance to freshen up our call with analysts and new voices fresh out of the game."

Triple M’s AFL call will be heard across all 5 metro capital cities and 34 regional territories next year when Southern Cross Austereo’s regional stations are rebranded to Triple M.
