The Matildas take on North Korea Tonight 9.30pm AEDT on 7mate and PLUS7 Live, with a draw or win assuring them of qualification for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The Australian public continues to get behind our team, with Friday night’s audience delivering the highest combined peak for the tournament of 373,000 people.
While a point from Tonights game will deliver Olympic qualification, a defeat may leave the Matildas needing to win their last game against China on Wednesday night to ensure a place in Rio. The top two teams from this six team tournament advance to represent the Asian Football Confederation at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Last Friday night the Matildas beat South Korea 2-0 to notch up their third straight win in this tournament.
Fresh from her hat trick against Vietnam, Kyah Simon opened the scoring in the first minute. Then Emily Van Egmond rammed home a penalty after star striker Lisa De Vanna was brought down in the box.
Hosted by Jason Richardson, with Brenton Speed calling all the action and former Matildas captain Melissa Barbieri in expert commentary.
