The new rebooted series of Top Gear is set to premiere on May 30th. And with it comes a new spin-off show, Extra Gear, which is promising to bring lots of behind-the scenes content to your screen for the first time.
Filmed each week at the Top Gear studio immediately after the main show, and presented by Rory Reid and Chris Harris, Extra Gear will bring viewers half an hour of exclusive new footage, interviews, and specially recorded films.
“The Top Gear fans are some of the keenest in the world and with this show I’m giving them a chance to really get a peek behind the curtain," said Rory Reid.
“I’m looking forward to showing them how the show is made and what goes on behind the scenes, giving viewers a different perspective on some of the coolest cars on the planet.”
TOP GEAR and EXTRA GEAR will launch on BBC Knowledge from Monday May 30 at 8.30pm AEST.
The rebooted series will air Express from the UK. BBC Knowledge is available in Australia on Foxtel and Fetch TV.
