Optus has today confirmed it has gained exclusive broadcast rights to the upcoming pre-season friendly match between Italian Football Champions, Juventus and Premier League fan favourites, West Ham United.
This first ever match between two of football’s biggest teams will be broadcast live and exclusive in Australia, live, via Optus Sport on Sunday, 7 August at 11:00 pm (AEST).
West Ham will host the match at their new home ground, located in the heart of London, at Olympic Stadium. This will be the Hammer’s first match at their new home ground, after 112 years at Upton Park.

The Juventus v West Ham United match will be broadcast across the Optus range of television, mobile, online, and out-of-home viewing platforms viathe recently launched, Optus Sport. The channel will also carry all the latest news, analysis and games from the Premier League, the FIFA World Cup and the FIFA Confederations Cup.
The match is available at no extra cost to customers who have subscribed to access the Premier League with Optus. Customers who haven’t yet subscribed can sign up to selected plans by 22 August 2016 and get access to Optus Sport for the 2016/17 Premier League season for free* (Min cost over 12 months is $360 on $30 mobile plan). In addition to the match between Juventus vs West Ham, customers will also have access to the International Champions Cup.
