With the home and away season done and dusted, Fox Footy is bringing AFL fans closer to the action this September with the most comprehensive coverage on and off the field.

It all kicks off with the illustrious Virgin Australia AFL All Australian Awards on Thursday 1 September, hosted by Sandy Roberts, with Gerard Whateley and Mark Robinson presenting a special edition of AFL 360 from 7.30pm with special guests LIVE from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Following AFL 360 at 8.30pm, Fox Footy will reveal the All Australian line up exclusively LIVE with Jonathan Brown, Jason Dunstall and the entire All Australian selection panel unveiling their ultimate side of 2016.

On Friday 2 September at 7.30pm, some of the game’s favourite former stars including Fox Footy’s Dermott Brereton, Brad Johnson, Cameron Mooney, Barry Hall and Jonathan Brown, will pull on the boots again in the renowned EJ Whitten Legends’ Game - new to Fox Footy’s September line-up.

Fox Footy’s Best of the Best Weekend starts Saturday 3 September at 10.30am featuring each team’s best win of the season, as voted by fans on foxfooty.com.au, hosted by Brad Johnson and Sarah Jones (continues Sunday).

Saturday 3 September at 7.30pm is a special hour of the highs and lows of the season in Fox Footy’s Top 100 Moments of 2016 hosted by Jonathan Brown and Neroli Meadows.

Fox Footy will broadcast every finals match (except the Grand Final) in September LIVE, with no ad-breaks during play and in high definition.

As week one of finals approaches, the 2016 NAB AFL Rising Star will be crowned on Tuesday 6 September, hosted by Anthony Hudson, Brad Johnson and Sarah Jones.

Fox Footy’s AFL awards coverage culminates with the most prestigious event on the AFL calendar, the AFL Brownlow Medal on Monday 26 September. Ben Dixon, Dermott Brereton, Sarah Jones and Neroli Meadows will be on the red carpet as the players and partners arrive from 6.30pm.

Gerard Whateley and Mark Robinson will have the most extensive coverage and biggest name guests from inside Crown Palladium in an AFL 360 Brownlow Medal Special, LIVE from 7.00pm.
