About the Presenters
Steven ‘Bajo’ O’Donnell has been a video game critic, reviewer and presenter of Good Game and its companion show, Good Game: Spawn Point since 2007. He is also the co-creator and star of upcoming ABC and Screen Australia narrative comedy sci-fi series Trip For Biscuits.
Stephanie ‘Hex’ Bendixsen joined Good Game in 2009 as its first full-time female presenter. She’s since become a well-known presence in the gaming industry, championing the positive representation of women in video games.
She is also the host of brand new 7-part ABC iview series How To Be A Fan with Hex which was released this month. In this series she’s on a mission to find out what drives gamers’ fandom, and to really understand it she’s jumping in with both feet. From Cosplay, to joining a tribute band, to getting crafty or LARPing (Live Action Role Playing), she examines it all, looking at how far some people will go to celebrate their fandom for some of the biggest movies, TV shows, video games and comic book characters.
THE GOOD GAME 10TH BIRTHDAY SPECIAL is on 20th September 7.30pm ON ABC2 and ABC iview.
