Weekend Binge-Watch: One Day at a Time: Season 1 (Netflix, January 6)

Our heroine is a recently separated, former military mum navigating a new single life while raising her radical teenaged daughter and socially adept tween son, with the “help” of her old school Cuban-born mum and a friends-without-benefits building manager named Schneider. This remake of the classic Norman Lear sitcom has garnered fantastic reviews, and is not to be missed.

Coin Heist (Netflix, January 6)

When a crisis threatens to destroy their high school, four teens hatch a daring plan to raise $10 million. Step one? Breaking into the U.S. Mint.

Sherlock: Season 4, Episode 2 (Stan, January 9)

In episode two, titled “The Lying Detective,” Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) faces perhaps the most chilling enemy of his long career: the powerful and seemingly unassailable Culverton Smith (Toby Jones) – a man with a very dark secret.

Good Behavior: Season 1, Episode 10 (Stan, January 11)

In the first season finale of this thriller, Letty (Michelle Dockery) makes a devastating choice and once again has to clean up her own mess. But this time it’s time to save Javier (Juan Diego Botto).
