Fuller House: Season 3, new episodes (Netflix, December 22)

With teen romance, family barbecues, a wedding abroad and (maybe) a brand-new baby, it’s shaping up to be the fullest summer yet.

Please Like Me: Season 4 (Netflix, December 22)

Josh (Josh Thomas) prepares for looming departures and relocations while confronting his true feelings about his tumultuous relationship with his boyfriend Arnold (Keegan Joyce). The highlight of this season is the fourth episode “Degustation,” in which Josh takes his parents (Debra Lawrence and David Roberts) out for dinner.

A Place to Call Home: Season 5, Episode 12 – Finale (Foxtel Now, December 24)

In the season finale of A Place to Call Home (which has been renewed for a sixth season), the Bligh family must deal with some deep ethical questions. They must now make a decision: do they reveal the truth, or do they remain quiet and keep Sir Richard (Mark Lee) safely out of their lives?

Little Women: Parts 1 & 2 (Stan, December 27-28)

BBC’s 3-part adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s coming-of-age story will premiere on Stan this week. Set against the backdrop of a country divided, the story follows sisters Meg (Willa Fitzgerald), Jo (Maya Hawke), Beth (Annes Elwy) and Amy March (Kathryn Newton) on their journey from childhood to adulthood. While their father is away at war, the girls learn to navigate what it means to be a young woman – from gender roles to sibling rivalry, love, loss and marriage – with help from their mother Marmee (Emily Watson).
