For the first time the entire Autumn Carnival will be broadcast live and free on Seven, kicking off this weekend with elite racing from Caulfield and Royal Randwick.

The best turf horse in the world in Winx starts her Autumn campaign in the group 2 Apollo stakes aiming for her 14th win in a row. Her main challenger will be the Godolphin owned Hartnell, who is back to take on Winx after she thrashed him in the Cox Plate.

Family day at Caulfield will showcase the Group 1 C.F Orr Stakes – the first Australian group 1 of 2017. The race features 9 individual group 1 winners including the race favorites; Black Heart Bart and Malaguerra.

Francesca Cumani joins the team and will be live with Winx at Royal Randwick. Jason Richardson will host the coverage alongside racing expert and 15-time group 1 winning jockey Simon Marshall with Simon O’Donnell on track at Caulfield to deliver all the news and interviews from what promises to be a big day of racing.

As the free-to-air home of thoroughbred horseracing Seven broadcasts every major meeting on the Australian calendar including the Magic Millions, Sydney Easter Carnival, Stradbroke Handicap, Caulfield Cup Carnival, WS Cox Plate, and the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
