Weekend binge watch: Billions: Season 1 (Stan, Available now)

Season two of Billions was supposed to premiere on February 20, but it dropped 10 days early. You now have a limited amount of time to catch up on the first season, as well as the second season premiere before the next episode drops on Monday February 20 (S02E03 drops Monday March 6 and then it's weekly after that -- Molk). It’s law versus money, with power, sex and the soul of New York in the balance in the second season of Billions. Oscar nominee, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Paul Giamatti and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis return as hard-charging U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhodes (Giamatti) and billionaire hedge fund king Bobby “Axe” Axelrod (Lewis).

Goliath: Season 1 (Amazon Prime Video, February 17)

Goliath stars Golden Globe and Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton (Fargo) and Oscar winner William Hurt (Broadcast News) in the ultimate David vs. Goliath battle fought in the 21st Century American legal system. The series follows a down-and-out lawyer (Thornton) as he seeks redemption. His one shot depends on getting justice in a legal system where truth has become a commodity, and the scales of justice have never been more heavily weighted toward the rich and powerful.

Let’s Talk About: Seasons 1 and 2 (Foxtel Play/Foxtel Go, February 19)

Matilda Brown (Am I Ok, How God Works) returns as creator and star of the charmingly cheeky and critically-acclaimed Let’s Talk About Foxtel original series. After falling pregnant within weeks of knowing each other, Season 2 follows the next rollercoaster chapter in the lives of Claire (Brown) and Ben (Richard Davies – Offspring, Bed of Roses) when their daughter Lily is welcomed into the world. Navigating parenthood while still getting to know each other results in situations you just can’t avoid, no matter how painful. Can Ben juggle it all before Claire concludes that her relationship with a lovable children’s clown is just a listless, sad joke?

Trevor Noah: Afraid of the Dark (Netflix, February 21)

Trevor Noah takes on a global hit list of subjects in his debut Netflix comedy special, filmed at the historic Beacon Theatre in New York City. In his special, the comedian and host of The Daily Show ponders the absurdity of colonialism and muses over the challenges a black James Bond might face, while reliving the true measure of a “wee little drink” in Scotland.
