Seven has been forced to remove this week’s advertised edition of Murder Uncovered from its schedule due to legal concerns.

The episode titled Two Weddings and 29 Funerals was focused on Melbourne’s Gangland murders, particularly George and Carl Williams.

Seven pulled the episode due to concern some of the included content could overlap with a murder trial currently before the courts in Melbourne. The episode will now be rescheduled for a later date.

Melbourne’s Gangland War has a history of causing legal dramas for TV Networks, The original series of Underbelly was blocked at the last minute from airing in Victoria due to a court injunction.

Due to the tight production schedules involved with producing Murder Uncovered, Seven did not have another episode ready to air this week. Instead an edition of Bride and Prejudice will screen on Wednesday at 9pm on Seven.
