While many were expecting it there was no confirmation until today Josh Thomas announced that his series Please Like Me would end with last year's season 4:

The highlight of season four was the deftly handled death of Josh's Mum (played by Debra Lawrance), and the series was roundly praised for it's depictions of characters with mental illness, family relationships and LGBTIQ issues. The series had been successful enough to launch in the US, Canada, the UK and beyond, though local ratings were flagging.
