Scott Morrison to face the public in special budget edition of Paul Murray Live

NewsMedia Release

Once the Budget has been handed down on Tuesday 9 May Treasurer Scott Morrison will be everywhere doing the big sell, but only one show will confront him with real opinions.

In a Paul Murray LIVE exclusive, the Treasurer will take questions from more than 300 voters LIVE from the Central Coast Leagues Club, Gosford on Monday 15 May at 9:00pm AEST.

You will have heard what the press gallery and commentators think, but in this special edition of Paul Murray LIVE, Australia’s voting public will have the chance to offer their verdict on the Budget direct to the Treasurer.

On making the announcement Paul Murray said: “Most politicians run away from this stuff, but I’ve got to say, Scott Morrison is bang up for this and really wants to chat directly with people on the coast.

“This is going to be something special. A chance to look the man who knows the Budget in the eye and ask him whatever you want.

“I’m just the ringmaster for the bit with the Treasurer but once he’s done, we’ll bring plenty of PML power to the coast.”

Members of the public are encouraged to be part of the LIVE audience by registering their attendance at [email protected] (a maximum of four tickets per registration).

SKY NEWS political contributor Ross Cameron and anchor Janine Perrett will join Paul following the Treasurer’s Budget pitch to the people to dissect his performance and discuss the big issues of the day.

The broadcast continues Paul Murray LIVE’s 2017 road show series which has seen the popular SKY NEWS anchor highlight the ground level concerns of regional and suburban communities nationwide.

This marks the fifth road show for the year following LIVE broadcasts in Manilla and Tamworth, NSW, Maroochydore, QLD and Ashby, WA.
