American Pop Sensation Andy Grammer will be performing at this years Logie Awards.
Andy Grammer is all about inspiring and empowering the world by communicating his truths through his music. He has taken the music world by storm with a succession of anthemic pop hits. His current single and global smash “Fresh Eyes” reached number 27 on Spotify’s Global Chart, having surpassed more than 200 million cumulative streams worldwide. The single also notably tallied Andy’s fifth hit single certified gold or better. His debut album featured the platinum singles “Keep Your Head Up” and “Fine By Me”. Andy’s second album, Magazines Or Novels, featured the triple-platinum infectious smash hit “Honey, I’m Good”, which was one of the best-selling songs of 2015, and the certified gold anthem “Good to be Alive (Hallelujah).”
Now, he’ll be bringing his considerable talents to Australia to perform on television’s night of nights at the Logie Awards.
“I'm super-pumped to be performing at the Logies,” Andy says. “Australia is genuinely one of my favourite places to visit.”
Starting his music career on the streets of Santa Monica in California, the singer has built a dedicated audience, with his fans going from watching him sing on a street corner to sold-out concerts around the United States.
Being able to bring his music to his Australian fans is exciting for the recording artist.
“We're going to go pretty big with the performance,” he says. “We're working on the creative now. ‘Fresh Eyes’ is a chill song, so I won't be diving all over the stage, but people will enjoy it. I'm excited!”
With the Logie Awards being Australian television’s night of nights, the singer has been brushing up on his local television knowledge. He already has a favourite – the acclaimed supernatural series Glitch.
“I've recently gotten into Glitch,” he says. “I've watched it and I want more! It's wonderful to watch. I want to meet the cast and cosy up to them at the Logies.”
Catch Andy’s performance at Crown Entertainment Complex’s Palladium Room in Melbourne, as well as all the action from the TV WEEK Logie Awards, on the Nine Network from 7pm on Sunday, April 23.
