Fox Footy has added a brand new entertainment show to its stable with The Greatest premiering this Wednesday. Hosted by comedians Tegan Higginbotham and Matt Tilley, The Greatest relives some of the most memorable, controversial and extraordinary moments of AFL history from years gone by in a 30-minute thrill ride.
Names like Dunstall, Brereton, Brown, Pavlich, McGuire, Johnson, Meadows, Ricciuto, Hudson, Roberts, Whateley, Sheahan and many more fondly remember the most brilliant moments our game has ever witnessed. Told by the people who were there; some stories which have never been told until now.
Michael Neill, General Manager Fox Footy, said the brand new show will appeal to a wide variety of sports fans.
“Die-hard footy fans will love relivingsome of their favourite memories while for new fans, they will get a light-hearted history lesson on some of the most impressive, and outrageous, moments in AFL history.
“The Greatest is what we all love about footy – the best marks, goals, characters, stories, hits, bad boys, Grand Finals and more,” Neill said.
Wednesdays at 8.30pm AEST on Fox Footy when there is no Thursday Night Footy on Fox
