Better Call Saul: Season 4, Episode 1 (Stan, August 7)

We’ve had quite a long break between seasons of Better Call Saul, and I admit that I had to refresh my memory on the events of the season finale, and a lot happened. Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) will need to serve out his year-long suspension from the practising law while dealing with the death of his brother, Chuck. Kim (Rhea Seehorn) is recovering from her car accident, but still overwhelmed with the amount of work from Mesa Verde. Meanwhile Nacho (Michael Mando) and Mike (Jonathan Banks) learn what it’s like to work for Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito). The highlight of the premiere will be the opening scene, a look into the black-and-white future of Cinnabon Gene, post-Breaking Bad. We’re still learning how Jimmy becomes Saul, but what happens to Gene?
