The E! Entertainment channel has announced Mariah Carey will be the latest celebrity to produce a ‘behind the scenes’ reality series.

The eight one-hour episode docu-series, Mariah's World will grant “VIP access” to the songstress like never before as she begins her “Sweet Sweet Fantasy” tour of the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa, all while planning her upcoming wedding to Australian business mogul, James Packer.

Producers of the docu-series are promising it will feature “an intimate look at the world renowned icon, including her family, friends and inner circle”. At this stage its unclear if James Packer will appear in the series.

The series will air on Foxtel's E! channel later in 2016.

“I’m excited to bring my fans into my life for the next journey I'm about to embark on,” said Mariah Carey. “I’m already having so much fun with this documentary and I know you will too. There is nothing like capturing these moments.”

The performer known for her global hits, “All I Want for Christmas is You,” “Honey,” and “We Belong Together,” is a five-time Grammy Award winner, 32-time Billboard Music Award winner, 21-time World Music Award winner and ten time American Music Award winner.  The doting mother of two is currently engaged and planning her wedding to business tycoon James Packer.  Mariah’s “Sweet Sweet Fantasy” European tour currently has 28 scheduled performances throughout Europe, Africa and the United Kingdom which will bookend her critically-acclaimed Las Vegas residency “Mariah #1 to Infinity” at Caesars Palace which has been extended through the fall.  This is her first tour for European audiences in over a decade.  Additionally, she is also launching a new vodka and is collaborating with some of the music industry’s top producers and performers on laying down new tracks. Mariah is truly one of the busiest women in the world but she is enjoying it every step of the way.

ESPN Australia secures new five-year ATP Tennis Broadcast Deal | @Foxtel @ESPNAusNZ

ESPN has reached a five-year extension of their agreement with ATP Media, the broadcast arm of the ATP World Tour, for telecast rights in Australia and New Zealand of the nine ATP World Tour Masters 1000 events, thirteen ATP World Tour 500 events and the season-ending Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Trailer Released Today | @Foxtel

HBO has this morning released the first full trailer for the new season of Game of Thrones. The trailer features James Vincent McMorrow performing a cover of Wicked Game.

Te trailer provides plenty of clues for the new season and hints that another Stark brother may not survive.

Season 6 will premiere MONDAY, APRIL 25 at 11am – same time as the U.S. on showcase, on Foxtel.

The 10 episode season will see the return of character Bran Stark played by Isaac Hempstead Wright, and Australian actress Essie Davis joins the cast.

The award-winning 24-hour TV channel, BBC World News, is celebrating its 25th birthday this month and will mark its silver anniversary with a special on-screen look.

BBC World News is available in Australia via Foxtel and Fetch TV.

The English language channel originally launched with a half hour news bulletin as World Service Television (WSTV) on Monday 11th March 1991, when it replaced BBC TV Europe.  At the time it inherited 700,000 subscribers but nowadays the channel is available in 433 million households across the world.

Eight months later, WSTV became a 24 hour news operation and launched in Asia – the start of its rapid growth which would eventually see it become available in more than 200 countries and territories.

In 1995 it relaunched as BBC World before changing its name to BBC World News in 2008 and moving to a new 24/7 multi-platform building dubbed ‘the world’s news room’ in 2013.

The original news team comprised of six journalists from the World Service team and six from television news.  Today, BBC World News has access to the expertise of thousands of journalists based in over a hundred cities and state-of-the-art studios across the world.

AIRDATE: Wayward Pines returns for season 2 on FX | @Foxtel

FX has confirmed the second season of the thrilling 10 part mystery series Wayward Pines will premiere express from the U.S. Thursday 26 May at 8.30pm AEST, on Foxtel.

Starring Jason Patric, and two-time Academy Award nominee Djimon Hounsou and Emmy Award and Golden Globe nominee Hope Davis the 10-episode, second season will pick up after the shocking events of Season One, with the residents of Wayward Pines battling against the iron-fisted rule of the First Generation. Dr. Theo Yedlen (Patric) – a new resident of Wayward Pines – awakens from suspended animation and finds himself in the middle of this rebellion, as he tries to understand what Wayward Pines really is and help preserve the endangered human race.

Also joining the second season Tom Stevens returning from Season One as Jason Higgins, a member of the First Generation and Pilcher’s young acolyte; Nimrat Kaur as Rebecca, who has her own secrets she keeps from Theo, her husband; Australian actor Josh Helman (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past”) as Xander, a resident working to undermine Wayward Pines from within; and Kacey Rohl (“Hannibal”) as Kerry, one of Jason’s lieutenants in the civil war going on in Wayward Pines.

Additionally, several Season One cast members will appear in Season Two, including Terrence Howard (Sheriff Arnold Pope), Carla Gugino (Kate Hewson), Toby Jones (Dr. Jenkins/ David Pilcher), Melissa Leo (Nurse Pam), Tim Griffin (Adam Hassler), Shannyn Sossamon (Theresa Burke) and Charlie Tahan (Ben Burke).
