Inside Out
TV Fan Leah Rocke delivers all the highlights of the upcoming week ahead in streaming.
Inside Out - Monday April 11 on Netflix
This year’s Oscar Winner for Outstanding Animated Feature makes its streaming debut on Netflix this Monday. As 11-year-old Riley moves from Minnesota to San Francisco, we experience her world through the emotions console in her head, where we meet Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear and Anger. Heartbreakingly poignant, Inside Out is among Pixar’s best films, including Up and Toy Story 3.
Dice - Sunday April 10 on Stan
The Girlfriend Experience - Monday April 11 on Stan
From Showtime and Starz respectively, Stan is fast-tracking two new shows from the US beginning this week. Showtime’s Dice follows comedian Andrew Dice Clay, who plays himself, as he tries to relaunch his career in Las Vegas. All six episodes will be available on April 10. The Girlfriend Experience is produced from Steven Soderbergh, and is based on his 2009 film of the same name. Riley Keough stars as Christine Reade, a second year law student who begins working as an escort to support herself. The 13 episode season premieres on April 11, delivering all episodes of the first season.
